Expansion of the Rio Grande Production System - Sabesp

Etesco participated in the expansion of Sabesp's Rio Grande Production System, executing civil works, electromechanical assemblies and hydraulic interconnections to reinforce the operational capacity of the Rio Grande Water Treatment Plant (WTP), in São Bernardo do Campo, SP. The project included new treatment modules with high-rate settlers, sand filters and chemical dosing systems, expanding the WTP capacity by 1.5 m³/s.

The works also included a 72-inch carbon steel raw water pipeline with 2.0 km extension, a Treated Water Pumping Station with 5 motor-pump sets of 350 hp and a circular reservoir of 20,000 m³ executed in prestressed concrete. Executed with the system in operation, the project demonstrates Etesco's capability in executing complex sanitation infrastructure works.
